Open-plan office cassettes, Northwich solicitors
Three Mitsubishi 4-way cassettes into a converted Victorian first-floor office. Clean recessed install, BMS-ready.
Holdsworth & Lacey are a Northwich solicitors' firm who'd taken a first-floor office in a refurbished Victorian building on London Road. Open-plan, 95m², south-east aspect, eight workstations, and uncomfortably warm by 11am between April and September.
Three 4-way cassettes were the right answer for even coverage without directional draught onto the desks. We specified Mitsubishi PLA-RP35EA × 3 (3.5kW each) on a single PUMY-P125YKM2 outdoor unit. Total cooling capacity 10.5kW, sized against the heat-load calc for a fully occupied summer afternoon.
Suspended ceiling void was 380mm — comfortable for the cassettes (350mm needed). We worked alongside the firm's IT contractor to keep the network cabling and the pipework runs in separate zones of the void, and BMS-integrated the units to the existing Trend system the building uses.
Four-day install with the office working through it (we worked evenings and weekends to minimise disruption). Air-change demonstration and F-Gas commissioning paperwork to the practice manager on the Monday.

What went in.
The bill of materials, in mono. We publish this on every install — it's the same document the customer gets in their commissioning pack.

We needed cassette AC in our solicitors' office and we needed it without disrupting client meetings. Marshall worked evenings and weekends, integrated the system with our existing BMS, and produced commissioning paperwork that the facilities company actually understood. The office is genuinely comfortable in summer now — eight workstations, no hotspots, no draught.
