The standards conversation in residential AC was, in 2014, a long way behind commercial refrigeration. On the commercial side, an engineer had to do a heat-load calculation, log every ounce of refrigerant, and produce a commissioning record that could be audited five years later. On the residential side, in too many cases, the conversation went straight to "what unit do you fancy?".
Marshall Climate Control was started to bring the commercial discipline to the domestic side. That's still the founding principle. Every job — from a £1,800 single-split to a £22,000 commercial cassette install — gets a heat-load calc, a properly sized specification, a commissioning record, and an F-Gas paperwork trail. Nothing leaves the van without it.
Twelve years in, the firm is three people: David in the office and on the heavier installs, Liam running most of the multi-splits and the trickier pipework, and Sophie running surveys, commissioning paperwork, and most of the customer conversation. Between us we've fitted 412 systems across Cheshire and held a 4.9-star average across 87 reviews.
If you're looking for the cheapest fit-and-forget unit, we're not the right firm. If you want a system sized correctly, fitted properly, and serviced for the next fifteen years — that's what we're here for.
