Full or partial rewires
Older houses with rubber, cloth, or original 1970s wiring — replaced cleanly with modern cable, modern protection, and minimal mess.
A rewire is the biggest electrical job a house ever has. We don't take them on lightly, and we don't quote without seeing the property first.
What you get from us: a single visit before quoting, a fixed price (not a day-rate that creeps), realistic timescales (a 3-bed terrace is usually 8 to 12 working days), proper dust sheets and floor protection, and someone there every day until it's done.
Partial rewires — say, the upstairs only, or just the kitchen and bathroom — are often a sensible option if the rest of the house was rewired in the last 20 years. We'll tell you honestly which option makes sense after we've had a look.

Frequently asked
How long does a full rewire take?
8 to 12 working days for a typical 3-bed terrace, longer for bigger or older properties. We'll give you a realistic schedule with the quote.
Do I need to move out?
No, but it's disruptive — chases in walls, lifted floorboards, dust. We do everything we can to minimise it but it's never invisible. Some customers move out for the worst week.
Will plastering be done as part of the job?
We make-good the chases ourselves so they're ready for filler. If you want full skim plastering, we'll arrange a plasterer or you can use your own.
