When a circuit keeps tripping, a socket's gone dead, or something's warm to the touch — we'll track it down and sort it.
Electrical faults are rarely where you think they are. A circuit that trips when the kettle's on isn't always the kettle. A dead socket isn't always the socket. Tracking it down is half the job.
We turn up with proper test gear (Megger MFT1741), work through the suspect circuit methodically, and explain what we're finding as we go. Most faults we sort on the same visit. The bigger ones we'll quote for and book in.

Frequently asked
How quickly can you come out?
Usually the same day if you call before lunchtime, otherwise next day. If anything's smelling burnt or warm, ring us straight away — that's a 'turn it off at the consumer unit' situation.
Is the callout charge deducted from the repair?
If the repair is straightforward enough that we sort it on the same visit, the callout charge is your total bill. If the repair needs a bigger return visit, we'll quote that separately.
